Berlin Global Village's Diversity and Social Inclusion Policy outlines our approach and sets strategic, needs-based, and actionable goals and measures. The policy is intended to promote transparency while providing guidance and support for everyone in the center as we work together to create an environment with less discrimination and greater inclusion.
In this document, Berlin Global Village explains its motivation, understanding, and self-assessment regarding diversity, and defines the goals and measures that guide the organization in its two core functions.

The full policy is available in German, English, French, and Spanish. We recognize that the use of these languages is not, in practice, a decolonial approach. However, we have chosen them at this stage to ensure the broadest possible accessibility. A Portuguese translation is currently in progress and will be available in 2027.

Berlin Global Village is committed to continuously developing more inclusive structures and creating safer spaces for the diversity of our center. As part of developing our Diversity and Social Inclusion Strategy, we found that most experiences of discrimination within the center occur in interpersonal interactions. This makes regular training and ongoing exchange on these topics all the more important.
To support both organizations and individuals, we have put together a short list of recommended training providers. The organizations featured were recommended through our network and community and offer training on a range of topics and for different levels within organizations.
