Tenants Representation

We are here to represent your interests as tenants!

The Tenants' Representation consists of three pairs of representatives:

  • One pair represents organizations with more than 40 m² of rented space.
  • A second pair represents organizations with up to 40 m² of rented space.
  • The third pair is appointed by the MSO Anti-Racism Council and represents the perspective of migrant-led organizations (MSOs), regardless of the size of the organization.

We organize ourselves independently and see ourselves as one unified body representing the interests and rights of all tenants, as set out in the Cooperation Agreement.

This includes the right to participate in decisions concerning the development and growth of the center, as well as the development of the tenant structure. On matters relating to Berlin Global Village's finances and investments, we represent your right to be informed and consulted. We make our decisions by consensus.

Four times a year, we meet with the shareholders to:

  • present your concerns collectively,
  • make joint decisions on new tenancy applications,
  • and represent your interests in discussions on the development of a constructive and diversity-oriented culture within the center.

You can reach us at mietendenvertretung@berlin-global-village.de.

Elections for the Tenants' Representation take place every two years. The next election will be held at the end of 2027.
