Oscar Mauricio Ardila Luna holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master of Art History (both State Academy of Fine Arts Bogotá) and an MFA degree (Institute for Art in Context, UdK Berlin). His focus as an artist and writer are transnational works, participatory art, public space and memory culture. He coordinates art in-architecture competitions. Since 2015, he has been part of the research group on public art in Latin America. Since 2017 he is co-director of the artist* initiative Citizen Art Days e.V. Since 2018 he is part of the curatorial team Memorial Museum, Cali, Colombia.
