The association Decolonize Berlin e.V. advocates for the critical examination of colonialism and racism both throughout history and in the present moment, for the recognition and reappraisal of colonial injustice, and for the decolonization of society as a whole. Decolonize Berlin e.V. emerged from a civil society network of Black, diasporic, post-colonial, and development policy groups in Berlin, in 2019. This alliance continues to exist and is supported by the engagement of over 100 individuals.
