Ingrid Cuestas is a visual artist from Bogota Colombia. She graduated in Visual Arts with a focus on Audiovisual Expression by the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 2009. Since then, she has been developing her work through an interdisciplinary approach that includes drawing, video art, installations, happenings, and creative laboratory languages. Her work explores themes such as sustainability, decoloniality, consciousness, food sovereignty and the intersections of nature, art, technology, and spirituality. Cuestas has participated in several artistic residences, both as an invited artist and as a scholarship winner. She has successfully partaken in open calls in Colombia, Brazil, Spain, and Germany and has been featured in various festivals, fairs and collective exhibitions across Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Indonesia, and Japan. Additionally, she has held four solo exhibitions in Bogota, Medellin, Madrid, and São Paulo.
