🎶🎭 Sankofa Stages – Amplifying African & Black Voices returns to Berlin Global Village this fall. The cultural series celebrates the creativity and diversity of African and Black art and culture in Berlin.
On December 3rd, you can look forward to a concert by the Berlin-based collective DENIM! The group consists of David Millán, Pelle Buschmann, and Emily Intsiful, a singer, producer, and songwriter with Ghanaian and Liberian roots. Together, they blend Afrobeats, Afrofuturism, and oral storytelling traditions. Through their music, they create a space for stories that connect, move, and open up new perspectives.
We’ll also be screening the short film “Alarba” by Joshua Kantara, followed by a Q&A with the director.
NILO MC will round out the evening with a DJ set.
Admission is free, but seating is limited- it pays to arrive early!
