Elisabeth Masé is a multidisciplinary Swiss artist and author, whose talents spann across painting, drawing, dance, literature, and architecture. She taught at the Basel School of Art and Design from 1984 to 1997 and held a position as a visiting professor at the Oslo Art Academy in 1994. Since 2016, Masé has been realizing participatory artistic projects with the Tchekpo Dance Company in West Africa, Europe, and the USA. Her works are featured in art collections throughout Europe and the USA. Masé has realized art-in-architecture projects in Switzerland and Germany, where she explores questions like: what does a place need, what do the people who live there need? Aesthetic and content-related aspects are just as important to her. Her artwork has been showcased in noumerous international museums and art associations and most of her publications have been published by Kleinheinrich.
