Change structures instead of adapting people. This principle has guided us in the project “Berlin needs you! NEO” for the last three years: whether in supporting organizations through change, in strengthening processesMultipliers in administration and career orientation or with specialist political impulses for PartMigG.
Our focus was on the systematic reduction of discrimination risks in human resources work, on empowerment orientation in career orientation and on anchoring competence in migration society.Every consultation topic was exciting. Each format unique. With all of our project participants, we have developed practical tools that work in everyday work - not abstract theories, but tried-and-tested approaches.
Now it's time to look back: what have we achieved?Where are we now?And what else has to happen so that existing inequalities for (young) people with a migration history and/or experiences of racism are sustainably reduced in school, in the transition from school to work and in the world of work?
We cordially invite all those involved in the project and interested people from schools, career guidance, administration, science, politics and society.Together we want to look back, discuss current questions and make new connections.
