The Berlin development policy advice (BER) e.V. and Decolonize Berlin, invite you to the technical discussion "Intersectionality in Decolonial Work".Look forward to an inspiring exchange with impulses from two experts.

Maisha Auma, educational and gender scientist, professor for childhood and difference as well as a guest professor at the Center for Interdisciplinary Women and Gender Research, discusses together with Sarah Mouwani, trainer and speaker at I- Päd derCompetence center for intersectional pedagogy.

background: From discussions in different civil society spaces - including about women*network and in the alliance Decolonize Berlin and dealing with intersectional feminist "development policy" - we ask ourselves how we stand next to each otherDissolve from decolonization discourses and intersectionality and anchor in our work to global justice.

The technical discussion is aimed at everyone who is practically active in political work and intersectional pedagogy and are committed to (global) justice. Also to those who want to deal with it theoretically/scientifically and deepen the approaches. Our goal is to discuss how decolonial and intersectional approaches are interwoven and can be used in our practice.

Note: We wish for a respectful and eight -handing room.We understand the technical discussion as a learning room in which we deal with each other discriminatory.

We look forward to your participation and the shared exchange.
