Berlin Global Village – the One World Center in Berlin is a visible place for people, initiatives, and organizations committed to social change and global justice. As a center with a clear stance, it is also a vibrant network and a social space of cooperation—for both users and visitors.
Around 50 development-focused and migrant-diasporic NGOs work here. The public event spaces host a wide range of political and cultural programs for the city’s communities. As the operator of the center, Berlin Global Village gGmbH promotes collaboration, exchange, and networking, and pools resources through shared infrastructure and opportunities.
The Berlin Global Village is a place for encounters, cooperation and learning. Check out our beautiful seminar rooms and event spaces for panel discussions, seminars, conferences, culture performances and much more.
Approximately 50 migrant-diasporic and development policy oriented non-profits are located at the center. We are the home of small volunteer associations, large non-governmental organizations, and state and federal umbrella organizations, forming a strong network with a unique variety of topics related to global social justice.
In addition to the organizations located in the center, we have a variety of spaces and offers available to the general public. Take a look at spaces and offers open to everyone.
We’re inviting creatives, artists, and cultural workers to share their work at Berlin Global Village during this year’s Earth Ceremony for the EarthNest
Cardboard boxes that would normally end up in the trash are given a new purpose in this exhibition by Eduardo Lopez: each recycled canvas now carries a face, a gesture, a presence. The Mexican self-taught artist deliberately shows his work in community spaces to make it accessible to everyone. On view until April 30th at the Begegnungscafé at Berlin Global Village.
