The Decolonial Memorial will be realized under the dual patronage of Claudia Roth, Federal Commissioner for Culture and Media, as well as Joe Chialo, Senator for Culture and Social Cohesion of Berlin. This underlines the Decolonial Memorial’s significance as a pilot project: a unique artwork for memory culture in Berlin, Germany, and the world. Claudia Roth and Joe Chialo will both speak at the Symposium for a Decolonial Memorial at Berlin Global Village on Tuesday 31st October 2023.
