Participation in court! Citizens as volunteer judges

Info event: Berliners can now apply for the office of a lay judge. It’s an important element of citizen participation in the democratic constitutional state. As lay judges, citizens are involved in dispensing justice in criminal proceedings. Armin Beber will familiarize you with the conditions of the office and answer your questions. He has been a lay judge himself for more than ten years.

Everybody is welcome! Especially invited are:
People from the migrant and diaspora community in Berlin Global Village and from Neukölln.
