Since the attack of Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023 and the use of the destruction of the Gaza strip through the Israeli army, the situation in the Middle East is increasing. In this country, too, an escalation has developed dynamics, whereby a "pro-Israeli" and a "pro-Palestine" side are often facing each other.Changing allegations of anti-Semitism and racism complicit common rooms for exchange, learning from each other and the change of perspective. But these rooms are needed. They are important to counteract the escalation.
Accordingly, we understand spaces against escalation as an intervention: we want to create opportunities to talk to each other, controversially and solidarity. We will discuss various topics, but they will be related. The second event will be about the relationship between anti -Semitism criticism and criticism of racism, which is characterized by change of one references and solidarity exchange, but also by tensions and frictions
