The advisory council of BGV has been constituted.
Berlin Global Village has a new advisory council. It recently held its inaugural meeting. The advisory council advises Berlin Global Village on all important issues. The main focus is on the thematic program work. It makes recommendations to the management.
We are pleased that we have been able to recruit proven experts from various fields relevant to us. The state of Berlin, an important sponsor, has a permanent seat on the board. Mohammed Jouni was elected chairman and Sarah Kohrt vice-chairman.
The advisory board is appointed for three years and consists of the following experts:
Güner Balci, District of Neukölln (Integration Officer), Melina Borčak (freelance journalist and filmmaker), Andreas Freudenberg (Global Music Academy), Mohammed Jouni (Jugendliche ohne Grenzen), MFA Kera (musician, Black Heritage), Sarah Kohrt (Hirschfeld-Eddy Foundation), Stefani Reich (Senate Department for Economics, State Office for Development Cooperation), Hans-Georg Rennert (Sprengelhaus) and Andreas Rosen (Stiftung Nord-Süd-Brücken).
Berlin Global Village is looking forward to a fruitful and inspiring cooperation.
The next meeting of the advisory board is scheduled for November.
